Quick question, is there anyway to pick Starcraft 2 up legitimately as a download from anywhere other than the blizzard store? It seems to be overpriced to me. Thanks.

no its retail or blizzard, you could wait until next year until HOTS comes out (the expansion) where im sure SC2 will be reduced but probably only like £10 or something.

Its held its value bc its meant to be a game you commit and get into for more than a few weeks/months.

Ok cool cheers. Yeah I wasn't very clear there, meant more overpriced compared to retail rather than for what the game itself is if that makes any sense haha.

Haven't played this since the end of Season 2 IIRC, a bit afraid to hop on ladder now because of such time away!

Was high-Gold, but somewhat close to promotion as I would often be matched against Plats (even if they were probably close to being demoted

), but I just couldn't seem to manage it, hence the long break.

Tho with the addition of Master/GM, maybe there'll be "more room" for me to break into Plat now?

Anyway, I'ma play a ton of practice/custom games before I attempt ladder, gotta get 're-settled' mentally

Platinum now pretty much equals gold or even silver from the season 1 or 2 days.

To be fair there isn't much difference between silver to platinum. Most of the stuff i see is pretty much 2 base all ins.

Just played a Terran who kept building battlecruisers which weren't very good against my 2/2 voids.

I know what you mean. After a break I never really want to hit that 'find match' button

Theres the starter edition, lets you play 4 maps as Terran.

Started about 9 GMT, only just started watching about an hour ago myself as I forgot as well. I'm used to US times when they start later in the evening haha. Just been the start of group play, wont finish until sunday so plenty left to watch.

I guess i cant get any better because im not playing against good opponents. Just won a 3v3 by myself with a 9 pool ling rush. Cheese maybe, but crikey. It's enough that none of them had units, but 2 of them let their probes get wiped out one after the other and the 3rd ragequit. Bizarre.

Yep, all EG group was a bit fail though really, all those players are good enough to go much further than some of the other weak groups.

Oh well, hope HuK can take the whole thing again.

You should all check out hayder's stream, hes such an underrated player, and doesn't get a enough attention. He streams daily with usually up to 1000 people watching, while people like destiny get several thousand. >.>

Probably due to being more entertaining, but yes haypro is pretty good.

Axslav must be the most underviewed streamer in terms of giving good entertainment and play, his talking on each decision he makes is fantastic.
