**** Original Starcraft 2 Thread ****

I just lost a game where I had 10k minerals, absolutely pwning the guy, and I decide to be clever and make HT's and DT's...then he arrives with cloaked banshees (which are ****ing overpowered) and destroy my entire army. It's totally gay, he has 5 banshee's 1 raven, uses the raven to focus fire my observer, then my entire army gets insta-screwed. I lost about 500 units, then he arrives with mass marine marauder battlecruiser. totally gay.

Solutions:
1) Build more than one observer
2) Stop playing Sim City and building up loads of res rather than killing him.

Banshees are weak. You should have hammered the raven first then had a backup probe or 2.

You cant have 500 units, 200 max and thats with no probes.

Indie - You now have my email and ID. Good few games last night, was getting a bit better towards the last one

400 actually..

Possibly the greatest moment of starcraft 2 thus far for me was 400 banelings putting total annihilation on a terran's so called 'wall off' and so called 'base' :D


and banshees are easy to counter if you're ready for them, but otherwise they can be really painful.


EDIT: Isnt the beta supposed to be over today? :o

Finishes tonight? Thats not good as its the only game I play. Are well, back to the 'unofficial beta' to see how the AI is getting on and if LAN play is supported yet :)

Are right, I see. Get 50 odd warpgates/factorys or something. Dont see how it was possible. If you have enough resources just get 200 max upgraded immortals and rip through many bases. Ignore their air units (just hope they havent got 200 upgraded b cruisers with cannon upgrade)
 
Tried playing a couple hours ago. Reeaaally horrible input lag. Try to queue up 6 hydralisks, takes about 5 seconds and ends up queuing 12 instead >_<

Don't know if the problem was serverside, my opponent or just my computer being lame. Had no framerate problems though, was just the time between me clicking and stuff happening was terrible.

Happily my terran opponent was rushing for BCs, so micro was hardly a necessity to win :D
