**** Original Starcraft 2 Thread ****

Gamebasement has it for £29.99. Not sure about the £24.99 US Brady games one, it might end up being just the guide ;)

When is beta 2 out? My game just loads then crashes with no warning box, login box or anything

I patched up earlier today but now when I try logging in I get "You are trying to log in using a client version not recognised by the Battle.net service." Maybe bringing the patch server up today was a mistake? :)

hahaha don't buy on release.
get it a week or three down the road.

That might be a good idea.. but I remember waiting for BFBC2's price to drop to less than £20, and it never did until around a month ago... :(
before then, It was fixed at £24.99 everywhere

Mine has said that since beta 1 ended, think it just updated before it ended then i got that message.

I dont think it will drop in price for at least 6 months. Will probably just go into town and pre-order from purple game store then pick it up on day of release. I was going to get the collectors edition but I think ill sack that idea off as you only get a few maps, mem stick and some other useless crap. Might have got it if there was a limited edition tshirt or something.

Ugh, my main computer has problems and now I'm on my back-up with only a single core, 512mb ram, and 8600gt. :(

No Phase 2 for me, unless maybe on the absolute lowest settings.

I was going to order from there, but they have terrible reviews on line, I wouldn't touch with a barge pole

I now can get further and get this message...

"This Battle.net account does not include and associated copy of Starcraft 2. Please log into Battle.net account management and add the game to your account"

In my account under manage my games I have Starcraft Anthology and SC II® [Beta Preview] when I select SCII I have the following info

License Status - BETA
Expiry - Active until beta closes

What else do I need to do?

Just downloading patch 16 now.. im guessing it will be available tonight.. they normally do all the SC stuff o na thursday instead of the standard wednesday for some reason.

Cant wait for the Phase 2 though, some gameees???!?

thats odd when they post the below lol

The second phase of the StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty beta test is now underway. We're delighted to invite you back to the battlefield and hope that you will join us through July 19 for more terran, protoss, and zerg action.

As stated previously, all data from beta phase one has been reset. This includes characters, match history, ladder rankings, and achievements. Beta participants will therefore need to recreate their characters and, if joining matchmaking games, complete a new series of placement matches.

We thank you for all the feedback you provided during phase one and are excited to hear about more of your experiences in phase two. Welcome back to beta, and we'll see you on Battle.net!
