it was up yesterday for the us i think , is it possible that the eu will not be part of phase2 as blizz have said nothing on the eu forums

Hmmm i wouldn't have thought that they would have released an EU patch if they never intended us to play! Also i think they would get some pretty bad press and angry nerds if they did that!!!

eu servers still being worked on , if it finishers on the 19th then that does not give us long for phase 2 . day1 patch anyone ?

We are still in the process of configuring EU servers for phase two of the StarCraft II beta. While we do not have an estimate for when phase two will be available for EU, we will provide an update tomorrow morning by 11:00 AM PDT.

Is it possible to download the US client and play on the US servers. Why couldnt they patch the EU servers at the same time as the US ones?

Make sure you have the right version for your region. I had the US version earlier on the beta, and I had this issue. Make sure you have an EU version, and you will be fine ^^
