Just bought the standard edition - was tempted by the Collectors but it's full of stuff I'll probably only look at once.

I dont get this Activision hate either it was only a few years ago everyone hated EA. Also Activision and Blizzard are a joint company now, Activision doesn't publish the game themselves. Blizzard is one of the few developers that can publish it's own games.

I ordered from shopto.net. I got GTA4 on 360 a day earlier than release last time I used them, and they reward you with store credit if you receive the game later than release date.

No, War3 is far more micro oriented.

Well, macro is far more complicated than micro.

War3 is relatively simple compared to Starcraft.

anyone know if we might be able to play without the dvd in the drive? i dont normally purchase retail unless its a game i can add to steam so i dont know if things have changed

OMG just watched that Ghosts of the past trailer and I must say I CANNOT WAIT! Bring on Tuesday! (Monday if I'm lucky and receive it like other midweek releases in the past!)
