gg HaZ, 1 to me and 1 to you ;D

Problem is I think it's £10 overpriced. For what seems a basic C&C clone.

C&C with Polish, balance, battle.net, amazing SP campaign, fantastic online feature (I've yet to meet a l33t gamer, I'm still in practise games though.

I bought it for £40 and I thought I had been conned, never usually pay that much for a pc title, but now I'd be more than willing to pay it again for the amount of enjoyment I'm getting out of it, more than I thought.

Well worth the money imo. The amount of time I have shelled out £20 for P.O.S. games means I really don't mind paying a little more for quality.

I'm not!

From what I have seen I prefer the CoH gameplay.

How do you know until you've played it though?

For what you get, the package is well worth it, it's a very polished game. probably the most polished I've played upon release with features that really make it incomparable to any other RTS or other game out there!

Well I won't. I'm not willing to waste £35 on something I may not like. If there was a demo I maybe able to make a decision.

Well everyone who bought it got two 14 day (7 hours of play time) free trial keys so I imagine if you asked nicely one of us could throw one your way.

I don't see the whole obsession with this game, I guess it's just not my style, I do like DoW style RTS games, but for some reason this 1 doesn't really hook me.

DoW was all about unit tactical gameplay Dota esq style, where as this is more Total Annihilation. attacking their resources, securing your own.

they're both RTS but completely differant. I much prefer having control over what I build. gives me more flexibility. that was one thing I didn't like in DoW2.

I'm still sat on the fence on this one. I do like my back to basic rts. I was a big fan of generals and the early c and c games the was easy to pick up and play and on the surface quite basic but underneth they had hidden depth.

But on the other hand i never been a big fan of playing them online as i usally get wtf owned by people other then noobs.

Do many people team up to play the a.i and how is the a.i on skirmish.

Oh and some people have talked about getting trails for the game how do i go about getting one.

ask in this thread and you might get one, mine have gone and been wasted on mates that used them and didn't download the client .

The Multiplayer is really good, but their are a lot of really good players out their so reading up on some tactics is good when you've chosen your race.

The only 'lame' tactics are those that catch poor/average players unawares (see: most)

I'm yet to see an uncounterable tactic emerge; if you know of one please point me to it so I can whore away.
