lol I like the way you put it but once there are more than 2 tanks on the field stimmed marauders can't handle that habit no more

Marauders are great in TvT from what I've seen. You need to be active with them and abuse the mobility though. Was watching Gretorp the other day and he was playing someone who had about 15 tanks sieged in the middle of LT. He was just running marauders all over the place with dropships forcing his opponent to unsiege and such. Even so, a couple of stimmed marauders kill a tank in about 3 shots lol.
 
actually simple marine marauder in the beginning with a few dropships can be the deal breaker, he won't have enough tanks and they will be out of position, marines for anti air, rauder for ground, worked so far, I'm about to get 1000 diamond ;)

Hehe speaking of the devil, I am going to work out my fast ghost build and try it on the next terran, it will probably go horribly wrong

Problem is you he will have tons of tanks and tons of vikings, if you go marauder viking, he'll still kill off marauders and drop ship abuse is impossible. I tried rauder, I attacked him when he was on the move and his many many tanks melted away my rauders still. viking + tank is really the top dog of terran vs terran as it seams, and it is fun and a dynamic tactic, but I don't like the fact that its who will move out of position will lose waiting game so I never use it.

I am switching back to terran for the time being, now I've learnt how to macro and econ I'm getting much better at the game. Admittedly Terrans are easier, and it is more forgiving if you make mistakes, but I've almost learnt how to attack now! And I'm getting better at harassing.

Was that guy in Plat?! He looked really poo :p. I never knew the ghosts could EMP the CC before that, very clever idea. It's a horrible way to lose, slow and painful hahaha.
Aye, and I can't even do it against Bronze players.
 
What annoys me...if Liquid can cheese someone like he did in Platinum with a ghost rush, why can't I :p?

If you referring to the video I posted:

  1. LiquidTLO is a very good player (he got in to the last 64 of the current GSL season in Korea. I'm not sure if he got any further, but he can't be too bad to get that far at least. :p)
  2. Those matches looked like they were played in the beta, but either way they were his placement matches against low skilled randoms hence all the cheese and strange tactics! :D
  3. None of those tactics are likely to work against even half decent players! :p
 
Scott you want me to list all toss forgiving mechanics? everything coming from cc is equivalent to toss' chrono boost you choose economy or faster production of units/research

Do me a favour play terran on a high level then we'll talk serious.

Different mechanics of difference races who can't compare them straight on frankly, you can't compare a bunker to a canon. If you don't start a toss unit its fine they'll warp in instantly, is this a fair comparison of mistakes? no its not, then why do I have to be unbiased while you guys throw same old biased opinions?

All you guys just stop arguing and throwing your toys out your prams about balance. At the level most, if not all of us play at the reason you lost was because the other player was generally better at macro/micro and have a better game sense.
 
No ones throwing their toys out of the pram, and I'm not talking about balance. I simply said in my limited experience I find Terran more forgiving. I enjoy playing Protoss because its more attacking (imo).
 
He doesn't mean you Platypus, he probably means me and scott, you just expressed your experience of toss and terran play, nothing wrong with that mate.
 
Also a build for tvt was suggested on teamliquid forums revolving around marauders and ghosts in theory it works and I bet it will be fun finding how it will work in practise if you want to spice your tvt up.
