I havn't replied as i was playing some games, watched a film and went to bed. Not that i should need to explain what i do with my evenings :/ .. unless you'd like to know every detail? trust me.. i wouldn't :p

Immature because of the way you left the game and then battlenet, with me and Kar just sitting in game expecting more tests. Immature again for your post afterwards, i'd go back and quote it but i cannot be bothered to find it. But it basically said that i hate Terran and i hated you. Adding to this you said you'd never post again... Dude, if this isn't immature, i do not know what is.

Your Ego comes into it when you DID post again. Trying to shun off all the non existant Terran hate again. Theres no need dude. You could have just posted the link and commented on the patch notes, but instead focused the main subject on satisfying yourself. No need man.

If you want the so called "hatred" to stop, i suggest you stop retaliating. Get it out of your head that we hate you, and that we think Terran are imbalanced...Apply this throughout, and you'll enjoy the experience here and on bnet much more i think.

Is it still in your head that everybody hates Terran and thinks their imbah.. I've never really moaned at any aspect of this game at all. sure I've discussed balance issues and tested things out, but never gone on a rampage for somebody slagging my race off. Can you not just type a smilie at them instead? nobody is against you dude, We wanna play some Starcraft with you more than anything.

Wasn't planning on going. But might do.

But Newbury...that's outside the M25 isn't it. I'm Australian, I don't go beyond the borders of the M25... =]
 
Anyone had the issue where the game starts up and it will just lockup and crash at the login to battlenet account.

I got the game last week, installed it, patched it up and got a quick game in. A week later come to play it again and nothing, just locks up and crashes at that login screen. The game literally locks up just after the first loading screen so I can't even type my account name in now.

Regarding Browder's post, I wonder how it will effect the dynamics of the game.

Thinking about it, PVT will be slightly boosted early game for Protoss (they can afford to be a little more aggressive with economy and not have to rush out the first stalker reflexively). I think most people now have figured out how to deal with the ridiculous marauder push. (But you still have to be careful one mismicro and you lose).

It will make biiiig difference to 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 games as it should let protoss get a couple stalkers out before Terrans can mass nitro reapers. It will also require double gas, really, and that should give us more of a chance of scouting it and reacting appropriately.

The roach change I'm in two minds about. It's designed to give Zerg more early game punch, but it's basically turning the unit into a 2 supply hydralisk from sc1. For cost, it may well make the hydralisk which is slow and has no hp, kinda redundant.

Now that's fine. I ******* hate hydras, but roaches hard counter zealots, are cost for cost (if within range) better than stalkers. It will really depend on what range they give the roach. Range 4 would be okay, but 5 and beyond would basically make gateway units redundant in PvZ. We'd be back to patch 7 when all you did vs Protoss was make millions of roaches and a few hydras for aa.

Still I thought the current patch would be a bit of a disaster for Protoss, and it ended up arguably making them the strongest race once entering the early midgame. So I don't know.

Continuing was pointless, your behaviour gave me the impression that you disliked terran and therefore had a pessimistic view upon anything I have to say about it, you said "I still think terran is ahead" I asked you to elaborate and you said, "just think so".

If you still don't understand I will repeat, staying with you 2 at that point was pointless therefore I said GG and I wanted you 2 guys to know what I thought was the case with you 2 which was "well done keep on the terran hate" there was no insult in this sentence, thats what I think was the case. And since you your ego can not still understand, I left because there was no point, we wouldn't have done any more tests with you behaving like a baby. So I quit and posted the replay that I had, its not perfect, but its something, you see and the point of my "won't come back to forums" was to stop all of this, because if I understand correctly no-body was exactly enjoying the balance conversation. So instead of dealing with childish your on the bnet, I left and posted the replay I had and I made an effort to stop all of this, in my view it is a very mature thing to do.

You see sane people say PvT is balanced, I know it, you know it, Kar knows it, not sure if Scott knows it, minato still doesn't believe it. Now you're making me feel bad for coming back? What I am ego-maniac because I came back, what did you want me out of "your" town like a leper? So you think this is about my ego? are you insane? I am getting insulted here by you and minato how is this stretching my ego?

What am I exactly doing? Just want some justice, some fairness that is all, what do I get out of all of this tell me, maybe I am missing something but how does my post boost my ego, tell me I genuinely do not understand how on earth quoting patch notes boosts my ego? I know sane people already know pvt is balanced, I am spreading the word that it is, maybe if we do that, then mass "terran OP" hysteria would stop.

Is it going to hurt your ego too much to admit that certain people are now better than you are?

From all these qualities I have gathered I can safely assume that you are an ego-maniac who tries oh so hard to keep his ego afloat and when that ego was questioned, when somebody didn't like you you snap at them. Indie I know your kind, you want everybody to like you, I've seen people like you before, your petty niceness is not going to work on me. I know what you really are nice on the outside petty on the inside.

Keep in mind pal you could have ended it a long time ago, you could have apologised for your terrible behaviour, then I'd apologise, everybody is happy but your're so self-involved you can't see that you were rude, can you.

I just played my first bronze match against Protoss and one single unit destroyed my entire army, it was cloaked, I guess I needed a missile tower to detect it?

My 2nd race is Terran dude, course i bloody like them, everybody on here knows that. you just threw your toys out of the pram when you saw a bunker rush. You played badly that game, so RE and go again, don't rage, leave battlenet and post a childish remark on the forums about me hating you. what the fudge is the point? and where the hell does me hating you come from? :/

The reason why i didn't elaborate was because you wernt listening to a word i was saying, your strategy was rubbish, people have said it was rubbish, Rob.. probs the best player on these forums said it was a null strategy. can you not just accept it?

again, i will repeat.. there is no Terran hate.. i play the damn race too you know.

Well i was playing badly when Kar beat me, and i have continued to ever since. He knows that, I know that. The reason behind it is that im struggling to keep up with the changing gameplay at the moment. Hes found a strong build that beats muta/ling too. Everybody loses games, when they do lose, they do tend to be playing badly. Thats why its called a learning curve.
Don't get me wrong though, i hate losing, im rubbish at it to be fair! But i don't mind losing to somebody thats evidently played a better game than me, in this case, Kar bent me over like a naughty schoolgirl and punished me for my wrong-doings ^^
Truth be told, im not as good as people seem to think I am. I've told Scott that recently im sure he'll vouch for me... or it might have been Kar.. one of you anyway! :D

My ego.. me playing the hardest race was somebody elses words, not mine. I said its the 'worst' race - clearly indicating its not what i think about the race, its more about the player behind the race that has a bigger impact.
In regards to the "meh reroll zerg and be awesome" - that was obvious sarcasm, everybody else picked up on that, hence why Milky now keeps spamming "Zerg are OP nerf hydraz".. its humor :)
Individual micro in this game is easy yes.. multiple units is difficult.
In terms of difficulty, I find T > P > Z .. and I think thats the general opinion.
Noble for playing my race? .. hmm yeah probably, theres not many players that have played the same race since 98. Im quite proud of it is more the correct terms. I like Zerg, i like the mechanics and i like being a mad-man with my keyboard, do i moan about it? no, I dont. If i did i just wouldn't play them as a race.

I've not bragged about being a good guy, again.. somebody elses words, i just discuss things on here and share my opinion, and give advice to anybody that needs it.

You seem quite focused on putting me down more than anything..which is totally totally off topic. I only asked why you would post such things if it wasnt to satisfy yourself... Now tis turned into a game of making rubbish up about me? *shrugs* whatever floats your dinghy.

Its a shame, as i thought you were a pretty decent player and really hoping for a Terran spaing partner to improve both our games. Thats what i thought this thread was all about...

I take it your Terran?

the Protoss unit was a Dark Templar (im assuming) - get yourself a missile turret as detectors in your base.
For a more mobile detector, upgrade your Command Centre and you will have the ability to do a Scanner Sweep :) this will detect any cloaked or burrowed units :)

EDIT: forgot about ravens! :D
