Britters awesome Terran against protoss strategy

1) Do NOT build any supply depots, you won't need them (!!)
2) Get up to 11 marines, but build both gas things ASAP and put 3 svcs on each to get the gas coming in as fast as you can
3) Get engineering bay. Remember DON'T build supply depots you only need 11/11 for this ..
4) The moment you get up to 150 gas, 180-200 minerals (should be about the same time) - load 5 scvs - take off - float base to his base
5) Land right by his base, get svcs out, start building planetary fortress immediately
6) As he (inevitably) attacks base (right now he is thinking 'WTF!!!'), repair with scvs
7) If he attacks svcs, run them around in circles .. they can't catch you and he's not stopping your planetary fortress being built. If he attacks base, just repair it.
8) Planetary fortress finishes being built (at this point get svcs on to his minerals) and blows everything he has to smithereens.
9) If he hasn't quit by now build second base in original base location using svcs down there, then you can go on to beat him in any way you fancy ...
10) Type 'lol' to him. Be prepared to be called a cheater!

(doesn't work for zerg as you can't land on creep. Doesnt work against terran as they just float their base away and set up elsewhere, and are soon ahead of you economically)

Kar's awesome stop stupid strategy tip.

See terran is building engineering bay and isn't making scvs. Think, 'oh I think he may be plantary fortress rushing me.'

Continue on as normal, use a probe to track floating cc while hot keying a second probe.

Continue as normal.

When cc enters base, key scout and second probe underneath it, at all times.

It cannot land.

Kill CC with stalker.

Get the girls.

If you die you get 1000 virgins though!

I've never actually been plantary fortress rushed :(

And the best tactic ever is. Kill a scv, load 5 scv's into CC. Float into corner of map. Type 'has left the game'

I'm officially going backwards.

Can you keep pressing stimpack so you lose even more energy, my men go red?

Zerg: Greater Spire upgrade not available

Has anybody had this?

My Greater Spire icon was blacked out even though I had a Hive and Spire was intact?

It's happened twice now and I can't figure out why.

No

Yes

yeah the effect doesn't stack.. AFAIK it takes off 10hp everytime you stim (this loss is deffinatly worth it) and the effect lasts about 15 seconds i think, so you can re-stim after the 15 second mark.

Thats why its good to combine Marines/Marauders with your Medivacs, because they'll heal the lost Hit Points really quickly, giving you the benefits of the Stim, with little to no loss at all :)

The crazy one me and my mate had the other day, was us T&P v Z&Z. Building up some workers and then all of a sudden they both run in with their workers and attack. I managed to survive but my mate didn't so I then couldn't handle that many workers on my own.

Very weird tactic. Don't think I will fall for it again, but was surprised as both the players where in Platinum.

My friend said he experienced it in a 1v1 the other day, he was caught off guard by 15 drones attacking. He managed to hold it and won, and this was in platinum.

I don't understand how you can loose to work rushes in 2v2...

even if your ally dies, you have had more than enough time to get a couple of units out or even a defense tower :/

from there the game is yours :/

Because once the other guy was finished with my mate all the SCV's piled on me. Got to the point where they out numbered me and I had no money to build more

Better macro will stop it next time, never though to repair my workers as they attacked.

scv and marine rushing is even happening in the bronze league now!!

That is why I have started to chuck down a bunker, just for the first stage then recycle it later. Even having 2 marines in it will give you an edge

If your building your barracks/gate/pool(13) at 12 supply then you can hold of any sort of scv rush easily. with minimum micro. To start with you'll have the same amount of scv's, possibly more by the time he's got to you.
And you'll have your marine building. Just send all your scv's to surround your marine when he pops and sorted.

It should actually be even easier if they rush your ally first. because then you know you have to get a defense up ASAP. your ally should just be running around his base making them chase him. stalls them, buying you even more time. It really is soo easy.
