**** Original Starcraft 2 Thread ****

Well my main TvP build is 1 rax/FE as I do like macro games and I consider banshee/raven openings pretty much all in (and it sucks against 3gate robo which is very common).I have to slighly adjust the timing on the ebay.
 
How do you pile up prodcution from a probe with regards to building say, photon canons?

In other words, whats the hot key that allows you to click and say where you want to spawn several buildings before the probe (single) gets to all locations that you've placed them. Queue them up essentially to warp in.

I hope that makes sense! :p
 
As Vadar says, shift.

Should always shift queue workers to go back to minerals when you want to build something, saves time.
 
I haven't played sc2 for nearly 2 months now because of exams, and I feel so rusty :(. Any tips for getting back into it? The 1v1 ladder is rather unforgiving :p.

Lots of info for HOTS now out and about.....its looking good.

shame my mp antics arent looking quite the part haha. Been doing a lot of 4v4s laterly in between the odd one or two 1v1s....i went from winning every single 4v4 i played (literally 20 in a row) by doing 15forge>FE>mass archon to essentially losing 10 straight.

how the hell does that happen?

anyone watch TB last night? mega rager on it was soo funny, although his 2BC rush is mega lame. The patch has done nothing to stop 4gates either - their just 1 minute slower.
 
Ohhh didn't realize the HQ stream was free atm, thanks for that one. They seem to have sorted out a lot of the problems with the streams from last time. Looking good!

Thanks, I guess I'll have to keep an eye out for the re-stream, my money would be on Select to take the win...

im keen t start playing this again. problem is when i last played ive yet to win a game.

any tips for a newbie? i understand how to build by economy and my army but i just get overwhelmed.

Make macro your primary goal - don't over-exert yourself with early pushes if you're still kinda new, macro up hard.
One rule that will really help - ALWAYS keep your money low ;) if you see it get to about 300-400, spend it, units, more unit produciing structures (as much as you can support per base) and upgrades. I think upgrades are probably overlooked by newer players, they do make all the difference!

Early expanding is always great, just dedicate yourself to defending that expansion and be prepared any possible air/cloaked threat. Oh and never neglect scouting - knowing what will be coming judging by his tech buildings will always let you prepare in time.
