**** Original Starcraft 2 Thread ****

Cheers Alex, yeah I'm still trying to figure out the best method in having my queens binded so I don't need to click around the map constantly targeting them.

As for larva I notice that myself, mind you I've had games go a lot worse with unspent resources, especially by the time I reach my second expansion, end up getting 2 macro hatches.

And yeah at the end the mutas over corrupters was panic and complete fail.

No matter where you are looking on the map u can hear the nydus pop?

Bind all hatches to 4 then bind your first base and queen to 5, then second base and queen to 6 and so on. When you inject, double tap 5, inject key, click, double tap 6, inject, click. Should only take a couple of seconds. Psy did a good tutorial on youtube

Getting back into this tonight hopefully, any major play changes? Last time I played was august last year but I would assume most people are playing with the same tactics?

I find the best hotkey setup for zerg is.

1-2-3 : all army
4 : all hatcherys
5 - queen at main
6 - queen at nat
7 - queen at third
and so on.

So told build drones its : 4sdddddddddddddddddddddd

and to spit larvae its: 55vclick 66vclick 77vclick 88vclick.

Just keep pressing '4' to check if you have any idle larvae, when you get good at this your production will just explode and your have so many units etc... Also if you ever get above like 500/600 minerals, either expand or just throw down a macro hatch. That means your macro is slipping and you need to have some more larvae

You always hear the nydus no matter what.

Cheers, i thought you had to be remotely close to the nydus to hear it, how silly of me.

Guess if i had preloaded it in that game it was gg before i already made the other stupid mistakes.

What about terran? :)

What about terran? :)

It's the same concept.

I personally use:

1-2 = army

3 = all orbitals etc..
4 = all barracks
5= all factorys
6 = all starports
7+ is whatever I want like, ghosts or something or eng bays.

It's the same, keep pressing 3,4,5,6 to check if something is building, if it isn't. build something :D

someone said in a game last night that s3 is delayed. This true? :(

not playing any 1v1s atm since by BP is nil and im top 25 so im happy with that and no one in my league seems to be playing either- trying to deplete my BP in 4v4s instead for a bit of a laugh, gone from 87th to 6th in about 2 weeks :)

4v4s are so ridiculous though, but its a welcome break from the serious nature of 1v1s

God i just lost 5 games in a row before winning one.

I always go into the game with the mindset i'm going to be aggressive and stop being passive and end up shocked with what they have, so around 6 minutes i move out and see marines at top of walled of ramp or something with my lings and just back off.

Only way i've done well is doing Nydus properly now but it feels cheap and just cheesy.

Are roaches good vs Terran?
I'm so indecisive what openings to go for and which to transistion too.

Expand and contain, control the Xel'Naga towers and scout what he's teching to.

Infestors > Marines.
Roaches are pretty horrible against Terran, only really used if Terran is going mech units. I'd say get a few to take tank shots but don't mass them like you would in ZvP/ZvZ.

Ling/Bling infestor is good, but watch out for drops.

I personally like going ling / bling / muta.

Roaches OK for the first 10 mins or so vs terran, but after that you want to tech up as siege tanks/stim and concussion shell mauraders will rofl stomp you
