Original Three E220 firmware and software

Wondering if anyone has a way of returning the software mainly, back to the way it ships from 3.

The firmware is working fine and well, but I would like to get the standard software back on it.

I have a few questions, just out of curiosity if you wouldn't mind answering them;

What was the benefit to upgrading the firmware?
Where did you find it?
Is this actually allowed under the contract?

Sorry, just I have the same modem and am curious as to any tweaks etc. that can be performed on it.

Mine was simply not working with my laptop but working fine on my main rig, so I needed to test out some other firmwares to see if they worked. Also they take the 3 modem from 3.6 to 7.2mbps, not that I'll be able to make any use of that.
Shouldn't think that they will allow it, but also they probably wont check either.
