OS installation problem

So I got my rig all set up, popped in the Windows OS CD. Chose the language and where to store it (my SSD) and then it said that it needed to reset. Upon doing so, it freezes on the Asrock screen. My motherboard is a Asrock Extreme 4 Gen 3. I'm worried that I might have broke something, what do I do? The DrDebug is displaying "0d". I try pressing delete to get into the bios but nothing.

Try installing it while only having the SSD hooked up. (I'm guessing you've other drives connected?).

Pop in the OS installation disk and try again. Perhaps try a reformat of the SSD too.

I've only hooked up my CD drive and SSD during that time. I did the language selection and everything, that all went fine. It did the extraction and stuff and then asked that the computer needed to restart, however, it freezes on the Asrock splash screen.

I tried putting in the os but nothing happens, I can't even enter into my BIOS

I recently had a similar issue on my Extreme4, but mine said the OS could not be installed on this disk (120gb ssd). I changed the sata port and that fixed the issue.

Maybe try that too?

Yeah, it is in the SATA port, I did all the BIOS thing before putting in the OS CD, the while setup went smoothly and then it asked that it needed to restart. That's when the problem occurs, it shows the splash screen and then nothing happens, I can't enter the bios whatsoever :(

Well, it clears all settings yuo may have made in the bios back to factory default.
You can either take the battery out for a few mins, or just to the left of the case connectors on the mobo there is a little jumper, move it across so it sits on the 2 pins on the right. It should currently be on the 2 on the left.
Check your mobo manual on how to do this.

Had the same issue. Got round it by making sure nothing is plugged into the MSATA ports on the marvel controller and disabled the controller in the BIOS. Works fine now.
