OS X acting weird 'User' account missing and User CP blank

I've lost a user account from the OS X login screen, the other two admin accounts show up. I logged into my admin account to find out if the other one had been deleted and upon entering the Users control panel i'm presented with a blank box.

Anyone know what's going on?
 
try verify disk permissions in disk util, possible damaged files loosing the settings and files.
 
Done disk verification, permissions repair, PMU reset and PRAM zap.

Nothing's helped.
 
I deleted the netinfo database and let it restore a new one, sorted it out.

Looks like there was a kernal panic at some point which corrupted the netinfo database :(

The batteries died a death aswell so that's being replaced :(

No its a standalone machine.

As far as the battery was concerned the tech said it was an 'inherent fault' wtf?
