Oscar nominations 2007

It's a shame Ryan Gosling most likely won't win the award for his role in Half Nelson. The film is all him for 2 hours and it's absolutely fantastic, one of my new favourite films.

I doubt the film would have been much with a lesser performance.

And I hope Will Smith does get the award he deserves for The Persuit of Hapyness

Agreed. There's only really him for best actor and Pan's Labyrinth which stand out from the nominations for my money

Though I do agree Smith put in one of his best performances and is well worthy of the nomination

Just been watching dreamgirls, and i cannot understand how Jennifer Hudson is a supporting actress, she was by far the main actor in this film imo, fantastic voice too.
