OSX 10.4 and Windows Gaming

I recently bought an older 15" Macbook from a friend (to replace my now destroyed Dell Inspirion) and have been dying to play a few old games, such as Diablo II and VCO.

Unfortunately I'm still stuck with OSX 10.4 - are there any virtual mounting programs I can find for Tiger, or should I man up and spend £25 on upgrading to 10.6 to use Boot Camp? I'm concerned 10.6 will ruin my wireless capabilities (Tiger seems much more efficient, and connects much faster) and cause some of the little niggles I've read about (hard drive errors, bloated software package, etc.) among other things.

Any suggestions appreciated!

Or, alternatively, should I follow the instructions on the website below and create a partition to install a fresh copy of either Windows XP or Windows 7?

That would allow me to dual boot and play the select few games on my shiny Macbook, wouldn't it?

yes and parallels if the game you want to play isn't too taxing.

I can use Parallels to play games up to like GTA SA
