OSX crash at glasto...

Gone now are the days where an Apple user can post the cash machine BSOD picture to win an arguement over Windows stability.

Can't see it properly but looks like a bog standard application has crashed, afaict (as far as I can tell)

OS X hasn't crashed there, the application has.

I can.

My OSX aint crashed, ever :)

10.1 - 10.4.

Not a sausage of a problem ;)

and it was the app that crashed, not OS X.

OS X crash is a kernel panic

And my Windows XP hasn't *ever* crashed in the years I've been using it :p Applications have crashed, but I've never lost the O/S

My os x crashes far more frequently than XP/Vista does to be honest.

Lockups, applications exceptions etc.. common place in OS X on my imac.

Ditto :)

In fact, I've been using NT/ME/2k/XP for years on years and I don't think my own workstation has ever crashed on me, at work or at home.

Yea same here, well ive had 'the' blue screen when i tried to install Linux on the same partition

I've never used a PC without it crashing.

2000/ME/XP/XP SP2/Vista.

All of em crashed at least once in a major way that required a system reinstall.

I only use Apple/Adobe apps which are very very very well tested so they just work.

Hopefully my upgrade to a Quad G5 will be just as good as my PM G4 :D

To get a BSOD on a machine running XP is very difficult, i've had one in the past 2 years and that was because of corrupted drivers so it wasn't even the OS.

If you regularly get BSODs on your XP machine then there's something seriously wrong with it.
