OSX - MS Messenger

How do I stop MS Messenger from opening at system startup? I can remove it from login items in preferences but it puts itself back in on the next reboot :mad:

Is there not a setting in messenger itself to start/stop it from starting on boot?

Dump MSN, its a horrible piece of software.

Give http://www.adiumx.com a try.

Before you ask: you can add an invisible status by going to Preferences:Status:+

I sorted it. I was making the change in the correct place, in login preferences, but the change wasn't taking effect as I hadn't unlocked the padlock

use aMSN...work beautifully! 100% compatible with MSN but...
it also let you use a webcam!
