Using Tinker Tool System:

Via the applications tab you can select and application and 'thin' it. This strips out all the multi architecture code leaving only what you tell it. So for example with Apple Mail I removed the powerpc code saving 8mb and making it load slightly faster!

Handy huh?

I think I paid about 6.90 something for Tinkertool

Not sure now what you can and can't do in the trial version...

Are you on an intel mac though? Been finding lots of ppc code in all the major apps.

hmmm

I downloaded tinker tool, but see no option to thin said apps?

I select the Application tab and can see some options for address book, terminal etc.

i've got a great tip - it's not free though. buy more RAM
