OTES not working (maybe)

Hello, just a quick question. I have an ABIT AN8 SLi Fatality board. And i have never seen or heard the OTES fans kick in. Is this normal? Do they only start when something hits a certain temp? I have checked that they are connected to the board, i have all so updated my bios and all the drivers i can find, but these things still dont start. Have had a search on the forum for an answer but havent been able to find anything. I have all so contacted ABit about a week ago, but not heard anything back yet. So thought i would post on here. Hi and welcome to the forums.

Im sure i read somewhere that they only come on when they are needed, you could test it by running Prime95 or Toast (google for them, onlt small installs), that will get things working hard and then the OTES should start.

If not, you know something is wrong.

Yep, it is normal. THink they only kick in around 50 degrees+ if i remember right. mine are barely ever on.
