Just sliced my thumb and finger open trying to change my guitar strings, and now one of them is stuck and i can remove it from the bridge :(

That'll teach me to leave a set of strings on my guitar for 2 and a half years!

There's blood all over my bed :(

However the end of the string was sharp and pointy, and stuck into me a few times without cutting wen i tried to straighten it, and the last time it actually sliced through my thumb and finger

What can we learn from that? If its sharp and pointy, it'll end in an accident. :)

Oh, and take some pics. :)

One of your fingers is stuck?!? LOL :D

The string :p

Stupid damn guitar! The problem I now have is the string is wedged funny, so I have to unbend the end that was around the peg. The thing is it's very pointy and sharp, as it's the thing that did in my hand just now!

I tried scissors to cut it which didn't work, and I have no wire cutters :(

EDIT: Or pliers.

Penknife has everything I've ever needed before :p

That logic is flawed, my Swiss army knife didn't have scissors when I needed it to have scissors, I had to use the mini knife thing instead. :(

Mine has scissors, screwdriver, allan key etc.

All it doesnt have is hammer, wirecutters and pliers :(

Don't need pliers. Get two flat, strong objects (like a ruler) and trap the string between them. Twist and it should give you enough slack to get the string out. Make sure they're strong, though.
