I tried one when I was the age of most of the people in this thread (I suspect) and it was about as scary as Ivor the Engine. ALL stuff like this is bobbins I promise you.

i always thought one person moved it themselves, making people believe it, though i havent tried it

Exactly you have to be naive enough to believe in it then you'll end up pushing the cup around along with everyone else

or you could just do what Derren Brown did and deliberately come up with some **** & bull story about a fictitious ghost and then get the Ouija board out and let the numpties spell then name of the ghost you just made up

it has to be more than one person (remember the glass/cup will move towards and away from the people involved in order to spell the letters out) and there isn't necessarily any deceit/trickery going on - a bunch of people who believe in it will subconsciously move the glass around anyway.
