An awesome achievement for Team GB. They showed those over hyper, over paid footballers what can be done.

I guess you can feel a little bit proud if you bought some lottery tickets, I mean that extra, targeted, finding seems to have been a bit of a game changer for Team GB.

I think China also deserves congratulations, though we beat them in the end they achieved their place in the medals table after entering the same person in all events

Athletes are getting money for entertaining. They get the recognition they deserve, which is massively more than the recognition public servants in the country get.

eh - public servants who progress well and stick in the job for numerous years tend to get MBEs, OBEs etc.. as standard when they hit certain points
