Our Production is Down...

Can anyone point to reasons why our production has dropped off in the last few days? I've noticed from the EOC stats that it dips and rises quite a lot (due to having a relatively small team I guess) but this dip is worse than previous ones.

I think i have a few WU's that are nearly finished but I won't make much difference on my own. Are some of the major OcUK folders having problems?

loads of 44 and 53 point wus' on my x2 and p4 :mad: (still testing p-d so service is on hold)

but i turned my comps off last night as i wanted silence for once, maby thats why? ;) :D

All my rigs, bar 1 single core rig, have GBgromacs WUs at the moment - and have done for a few days. They're not the worst for ppd but far from the best either :(

Where have all the 364 pointers and Double Gromacs WUs gone?

Don't think i've had any WU's less than 100 points since i started. Could this be because i use -advmethods?

lay-z-boy (or should i say Appleby) i noticed your 24hour average is quite similar to mine. What do you have folding for you?
 
I'm not sure how to chek, you can load up the config only version and just not change anything, pressing enter means the same options as before.

I've got a 215 pointer on the go atm, not the best but not the worst. We need to recruit more people. I have to turn my rig off at night as its too loud for me :( however I am using the BIOS option to turn on at 0700 (when I'm not up) so that I get the most hours out of the day
 
If you're using the 504 version then you will have to go down the -configonly route. If, however, you are using the 502 version, you will have added (or not added) the -advmethods switch with a registry hack and you can check it by looking at the image path for the service (either in regedit or by checking the service in the "path to executable" field).

Sound slike you need to invest in some new fans/heatsinks etc. Get it running quieter.

Up to last night I had a 120mm delta on an Si120 on one of the machines in my bedroom running full belt 24/7 at 12V.

Not recommended for anyone who's a light sleeper. Luckily, when I go to bed I don't sleep, I go into a coma :D

i would like to see you try to sleep with 10 fans on in your room, 4 of them being 220cfm delta's on water rads.
Not to mention the huge number of led's comming from power lights and soundcards.

hi there,

x2 4400 @2.7 - main rig
p4 3.2 @ 3.4 - games server/media server
and periodicly a pentium d 930, but im testing the oc with s&m so its not folding very much and the speed can very from 3ghz to 4.5. :)

i used to have a dothan 1.7 as well, but i got ****** for installing fah on that pc even though i was given permission.
 
My 2 machines haven't been folding at all this week as i'm not at home.
I should be back sometime friday and should have them folding again. :)

I'm pretty sure i've not been 'claimed' till now. I'm not even sure if being claimed is a good thing or a bad thing! ;)

Just don't claim my WU's... they're all mine.

Sorry, no claims outside the official thread.

As for you lot using deltas, all I can say is :eek:

The 120mm things practically levitate themselves on full whack. Wonder if they'd be any good as hovercrafts (with the addition of appropriate skirts). :D
