Our Production is Down...

Sorry, no claims outside the official thread.

As for you lot using deltas, all I can say is

The 120mm things practically levitate themselves on full whack. Wonder if they'd be any good as hovercrafts (with the addition of appropriate skirts). :D

4 of the 60mm deltas will levitate the 8 AA batteries needed to get the 12v for them easily enough. they do empty those little blighters pretty quickly though  oh and I had no way of controlling the mental screeching thing that flew off my desk and threatened to cut all my limbs off.

To think I used to live in a flat with 5 of the 80mm ones running 24/7, I couldn't do it now, it'd drive me mad. My days of 60% overclocks and overvolting Athlons is long gone. (AXIA Y cores for the win :D )

yeah there is a back hole behind both computers due to the 440cfm passing through the rad, i have mounted a ramp to the front of the case the wrong way round so it stops the case from trying to beat a ferrari in a 0-60 race :D  :p

Half Term is why my production is down and in 7 weeks it'll be the summer hols, so no folding for 6 whole weeks
Quite the opposite for me. The pc will be on all day and with some future modifications all night aswell as a result of being on holiday, so my production should go up eventually, providing i can fix some of the problems i've been having.

All my farm is at full capacity, and has been for the last few weeks. The only two machines capable of crunching that aren't are my router box and my brother's laptop, a Sempron 3000+ (stingy ******* that he is :().

It's annoying being at full capacity though 'cus there's sod all I can do to increase my output :o

Not won't but can't

The only machine that would be overclockable is my main rig. All the others have budget mobos. My main rig can't be overclocked. I've tried several times, as lay-z-boy is aware.

It's a Prescott 3.0 with XP-90. I tried 3.4 but temperatures were so high thermal throttling was cutting back half of the cycles. I then tried 3.2 and thought I had it, but a few hours later I checked for throttling and found it was still throttling back between 10% and 30% rendering my attempts pointless.

Strangest and most annoying of all though is that I used to get 3.4 nicely with my old mobo. The reason the new one is worse is because the position of the socket makes airflow worse; the old mobo had the *perfect* socket position allowing brilliant airflow.

So :p to you all. Only way is more b0rgs and they are pretty short at the moment, I can't really afford to buy any either :(

Ahh ok thats fair enough. I can't either...
Booted up my machine this evening and i get three 'add new hardware' popups. I haven't added any new hardware.
I think i've reached the point where i shall have to send every god damn part of this machine back. And i know if i do i'll be charged £20 for every one of them to post them back 'not faulty'. Either that or pay the local pc service man to come and say 'no idea mate, send it back. £40 please'. And i can't post asking for help because no-one knows whats wrong.

Random freezing, long boot times, occasional bsods, failures in memtest...

And i know what will happen, because its exactly what happened to my last machine. By the time i got it working properly, it was rapidly getting out of date and needed bits upgrading. So here i have another machine, built for overclocking at considerable expense, sitting here at stock speeds doing naff all. :(

Edit: This just gets better and better... random beeps now. For once i just wish whatever is causing these problems would just smoke and reveal itself...
