out of contract what to get

So I've had my Lumia 1020 for 28 months now, changed over to sim only rolling contract. But my phones battery has become awful and its just getting to slow even after a factory reset and only running the basics.

I don't know whether to go for flag ship models (its always nice to have fancy things) was thinking either note 5, S6 or the Z5.

or do i go for a cheaper handset? my only concern is camera quality on the lower end phones seems pretty dismal.

cheaper handset I can keep monthly costs down and buy the phone outright and stay on sim only

I cant make my mind up what to do some make it up for me :D
 
Honor 7 seems to get raved about when I was looking at what's available in the Android range, price is in the middle range but specs are of high end, including camera.

Perhaps reading that up can help?
 
Sadly there aren't many options if you want to stay with Windows. Have you tried W10M on your Lumia?

The LG G4 is a good value for money Android flagship phone.

If you'r ehappy to wait, Mobile Fun apparently have the 950XL for £27.50, Unlimited Mins / Text / but only 1GB Data, 4G from O2.

I am tempted myself but the lead time is set for 28th Jan!
