Out of ideas :(

I'm attempting to get my other PC to boot, specs are the second in my signature, I have tried absolutely everything I can think of. Problem is im getting no video output at all. Graphics card is fine as tested in other PC, RAM is fine as tested in other PC, PSU, HDD's etc all fine too as tested.

Can anyone at all give me any more ideas before this PC flys out of the window.

Might I add I have also tried taking out all the header pins etc.

The only problem I can see is one of my P5Ks is dead.

Well you could put your E6550 in your other P5K and maybe use the PSU from your #1 rig. But it would seem that the mobo is dead

Yer im going to say the mobo is dead, I'm fed up of just swapping stuff around. PC in #2 starts but graphics card fan stays 100%, it usually power down to like 20% on a working boot afew seconds later. (just for arguments sake im only using a 1900XT atm between both) so I'm not sure what to do now.

I hate building PC's, well only when they don't start

That's the best part imo. Nothing like a bit of fault finding to keep the brain ticking

Problem is, its a fine line between problem finding and the PC being thrown out of the window!

So if you have tried everything then it must be the motherboard surely? Its not unheard of for motherboards to be DOA. Just RMA it and try again, annoying I know but its the risk we take.

I know, its hard admitting defeat, I've just rebuilt it outside the case with all the minimal bits, still no go.

Googling my error though it seems no video signal is slightly common with P5K's and I assume is a sign of nasty death, on the other hand my e2160 clocks awesomely, shame I have no mobo to compliment it.
