Hi All,

Just part Ex'd my Impreza Wrx 280bhp /300ft tq - Sad to see it go as i have looked after it so well:

For this

:

FSH with 39k and a 5.7 V8

Really nice inside, as i have moved house recently i needed something more suited to motorway driving - 6th gear 90mph 1900rpm

I havent turned traction control off yet. Power is instant and never stops all the way through the rev range ...... feels like a 911

Happy with it so far

Couldnt afford the supercharged one ... maybe my next car

Yeh the alloys werent exactly my taste but i think they are okay, need a re-furb tho cuz of the salt on the roads earlier in the year

Has it been undersealed? I would have a check underneath if you haven't already.

I didn't realise Monaros weren't undersealed by Vauxhall until I started looking at purchasing an 6.0 Vxr.

Yes because this car is all about the looks, not about the big V8 that sits under the bonnet...

But it's not the be all and end all, I would have rather traded up to a Hawkeye STi or some sort of Evo

peterattheboro I can go for hours and hours on a motorway in 5th at 5k RPM, so for me this whole "motorway driving" thing is a a weak excuse
