Outlook regularly makes a backup of your files that it calls backup.pst and sticks it somewhere in your user profile files. What I want to know is if anyone knows if I can change the location it puts this backup in eg. onto my files drive rather than my windows drive
 
if you cant do it from office (which iam sure theres an option for somewhere) you could always use sink (sp)toy to then, copy that file to whereever you want it.
 
the answer is yes you can

go to.. tools, options, mail setup, data files, then open folder.

from there you can see where they are all stored, copy the folder to make a back up or choose a different location for the files to be stored in.
