Outlook 2010 - Desktop Email Preview

Hi all,

I am building a machine with Outlook 2010 installed. However, I cant find the option to give a desktop alert to stay on the screen, with the new email headers displayed.

Could anyone point me in the right direction?

If its windows 7, then right click on task bar -> Properties -> Customize (should be notification area), then make sure outlook is set to display icon and notifications.

Also, right click on the outlook icon in taskbar and make sure its set to display email alerts.
