Outlook alternative

Is there a free alternative to Outlook that can handle Email, Calendar and address book information?

Have you tried the latest version of Windows Live Mail? That does pretty much all what you've asked for. It's like a nice blend between the feature-packed Outlook, and the cut-down Outlook Express.

Thunderbird along with Lightning for calendar support are worth checking out.

Hmm, I don't think anything is as comprehensive as outlook.

EDIT: having had a read around, I'd probably go with Evolution, but that would assume a move to Linux.

Thunderbird is the first that springs to mind, I prefer it to Outlook but I'm stuck with Outlook because of the sync feature with my nokia.
