Outlook emails removing spaces from text!

Ok, strange one this..Never seen it before. On a few users on our network, when they send emails, external or internal, the Outlook client appears to be removing some spaces from the text. For examplelike this andlike this...
Client is Outlook 2003 and connects to Exchange Server 2003.
Any ideas? :confused:

Sophos is installed on all PC's.

DOes this happen when they send from webmail? Do you tag signatures on at the mail gateway or do any spam filtering?
