Hey, i'm getting this error when trying to add a second email account into outlook? Both emails are the same domain.

Something went wrong 657rx
Message: The credential is invalid, Unsuspected sub status (6008)
Tag:657rx
Code: 2148073494

This is coming up in Outlook. The password works for the webmail.

The PC is a 7th gen i5 running Windows 11 (wonder if that's the problem?).

I'm assuming 365? Sign out of all Office Apps, then sign in again - should sort it

Yes, the only thing signed in is the Outlook?

I did read something to do with Microsoft knowing it's a 7th gen i5 processor running Windows 11 and it not being compatible? (8th gen is minimum?)

I would have thought that this would be down to getting Windows 11 installed or upgraded from Windows 10 as it does not meet the Windows 11 requirements.

I've not heard of it being an issue accessing other services from Microsoft.

Checking the system requirements for Microsoft 365 it does not state what gen processor it needs just a 1.6ghz or faster with 2 cores

Microsoft page for the error here with some things to check\try
