Hey,

My cousin sent me a Powerpoint presentation in an email and asked me to annotate some things. I did and saved the changes, but I didn't do a "Save as". The original email document hasn't changed however, so is it possible that a copy of the changed version has been saved somewhere else (e.g. temp folder).

Cheers,

Suman

Do a "file save as" and look at the location it suggests for the file.
Cancel that and then goto that location to find your file.
Maybe.

depends slightly on your mail client but IME files opened directly from Outlook and Thunderbird will be saved to %temp% or in My Documents\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files (outlook puts things in a folder in there) (that's an environment variable btw- type it as-is into explorer/My Computer/whatever you want to call it)
