hey

a good morning to you all on this fine sunday morning ( RAINING LIKE MAD HER ) :)

i have just spent the past 3 hours adding 35 email accounts and message rules to outlook express because my hard drive yesterday desided to go BANG! dont mind the emails as much its just the time of setting all of outlook express up!

what i wanted to know is if there are any programs that back up email accounts message rules and the genernal whole outlook express settings up and if so where can i find this and am willing to pay because it takes so much time up :(

Thanks in advance,

Personally I use Geniesoft Backup Pro (paid about 40 quid IIRC) as I love the plugin elements of it. I use it to backup my outlook, firefox profiles, my docs, mp3s and gamesaves to my networked drives.
They also sell a product for about 15-20 quid which does exactly what you are after for outlook express. http://www.genie-soft.com/products/oeb/default.html - there's a trial there too.

When I used OE I just did it manually.

File/export or something like that for accounts.

For emails you can just copy over *.dbx from the store directory (you can find out the path to this somewhere in the tools menu).

Edit: path should be something like C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{W31RD-C0D3}\Microsoft\Outlook Express
