How do I stop Outlook express from asking about compressing emails when I close the program? I don't need worry about disk space because Emails are stored on another large hard disk.

The outlook express database cannot go over 2gb or it has problems.
When you delete an email it still stays within the dbx file but it is flagged as deleted so it does not show up, so the size goes up and up regardless of how many emails you delete.
Use the compact message option to remove deleted entries from the dbx file and it will keep it running smoothly.
