I use the Outlook iOS app on my iPhone 7 to access my work email account. It did work mostly fine for a while but at some point months ago the app lagged to the point it was unusable, especially when viewing the calendar. It featured freezing, crashing, and significant lag when it did work. For example, when creating a calendar entry or composing an email, when typing, I would write something and it would lag by about 10-20 seconds, often with random autocorrect substitutions and upper/lower case variations.
It is now at the point that it is unusable. I have reinstalled the app a couple of times but to no avail. A search online makes it obvious that this issue is widespread but I cannot find any evidence of a fix. The IS Support team at work have exhausted all options at their end and cannot help further. They opined that the iPhone 7 might be too old, but it worked fine before. It also works fine on my work issued iPhone 6.
Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, have you found a fix?
