Outlook no longer in system tray

When I open outlook it appears in my task bar but no longer in my system tray. when I minimise it, it disappears from the task bar but doesn't appear in the system tray. According to task manager the programme is still running - but is no where to be seen. Has anybody ever had this problem? How did they resolve it?

I'm running vista home premium & Outlook 2003

I didn't think you could get rid of that icon. Are you sure its not hidden?

It's in tools options. Why do you want it to be TSR anyway? I remove as much as possible from my taskbar.

I need it in the system tray, I spend so much time in outlook I always need it to hand. I found a registry edit before which worked and put it back in the system tray. But it disappeared again after a reboot! I'll have to have another look into it!
