Hi

I sent an email to a person but forgot to put the email address in my contacts. Is there anyway of getting it out of Outlook or is it to late.

Yep, just go to sent messages and the email will be in there.

If you want the autonames to backup they are here...

C:\Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\Outlook.NK2

make sure show hidden file and folders is ticked under folder options as you wont see the above path

sorry wasnt clear enough lol

it has been deleted by me so wont be in sent items lol

Select deleted items folder, then click tools, recover deleted items.

Normally i never find anything i want in there but worth a try.

As what guest2 suggested its probably saved in the .NK2 file so if you remember the start of the email address it with then try to predict it when you type in the TO... field.
