Output power router query

I am new to routers so am curious as to some of the information that I can see in the homepage.

In my screenshot below is an entry for output power:




What I would like to know is what it actually tells you?
Does a higher rate mean a cleaner broadband signal or is it the output of the router itself?

Also I assume it is related to line noise as it has dB in the result :confused:
Finally what does the 'm' stand for?

It means that the router (or the line card) is using a higher power.
It does exactly what it says on the tin.

Higher intensity of noise is going to need a higher power output to overcome it, so yes, sort of.

Finally what does the 'm' stand for?

Er, metres?
