Outside speaker help

Hi,

Audio noob alert:

I have a pair of outdoor Bose speakers that worked fine playing music from my PC inside, via an old Logitech Z5500.
I have since removed the Logitech and am trying to connect the outside speakers via a DAC, then into a Nobsound NS-04G Pro.

If I connect the DAC to my Sonos system (inside) via the headphone out - it works fine on the Sonos system.

Outside speakers are connected to the Nobsound L/R speaker connectors = no sound.

Am I doing something wrong (think I must be).

Need to test each thing in turn

One or more items could be faulty.

Really strange.
The DAC seems to be working fine.
On the Nobsound NS-04G Pro, I can hear the feint music coming from inside, so it is getting the signal - but nothing to the outside speakers?

Will try and find an old speaker in the garage, to plug that in directly to the Nobsound (if still does not work, then faulty Nobsound?)
