Logitech have done it for me with replacments / Faluty products.

4 Years ago i bought the MX revolution off Dell for £45 or so.
The mouse has now got problems that it will studder or freeze ( less than a second) across the screen on both computers, the receiver is less than 3ft away aswell. This has been going on for a month now, but have stuck it some how.

Mouse is also worse for wear as the plastic coating has came off on the right hand side grip.

So when this happened, i contacted them either Monday or Tuesday, today i receive an email for me to confirm my home address, contact number etc.
They are sending me out a replacement, but as the mx revolution has been discontinued, they are sending me out a brand spanking new, Performance Mouse MX.

They have top quality mice, keyboards and speakers, But most of all for me top quality customers service and guarantee. :D

You always hear good things about logitech customers service, very highly thought of. On the other hand though it seems their products don't last :p

There was a thread not long ago regarding Logitech Customer Support but yea I do agree. The best customer service I've ever experienced.

Yep, was amazed by tir CS, excellent solid products as well.
They aren't made badly, just that due to there reputation. We contact them, even if it was are fault they broke.

Of course they do - its more the case that when people have had problems the service theyve received is so above the norm its worth commenting on...

I know the comment was jokey - just wanted to assure people that their products are of a high standard...

ps3ud0

They were utterly useless whan I needed a new USB transmitter for a mouse, tough luck buy a new mouse was the attitude

They were useless for me too. Volume control module died on my logitech thx something or other speakers, wouldnt replace and wouldnt let me buy the part on its own so I had to junk them :(.

I keep meaning to email them because my mouse has like a 1 in 5 chance of charging up and even then takes lots of fiddling to et it to work and all the rubbers come of the side.

but i don't have any receipt etc and the bottom label with all the info stuff o nis scratched to hell and now just plain white pretty much.

reckon they'll replace it or anything?

If something's broken and within its warranty then they honour it like other companies. It's just that they're often a little bit faster because it's mostly mice and keyboards. I don't reckon they bother testing them, instead making you destroy it.

Did for me, no recipt, no serial number sticker at all. Clearly out of warranty. Still sent me the new version G15 with no questions.

4 years is well out of warranty, mines gotta be 3 or so years.

How would you word the email?

Logitech are a total hit or miss company, totally depends who you get on the line.

I have had very good experiences with them, also some of the worst customer support experiences.
