Outstanding Logitech

Considering the fact you are more likely to post a poor experience, the amount of people that bother to post a good one just shows that your opinion is biased considering your recent experience.

Im sorry but ultimately at the end of the day Logitech are well within their rights to ask for the faulty part in attempt to service the warranty. No doubt they are getting wise to the large amount of dodgy warranty requests they have got and probably have additional rules for their more high-valued items...

I'm not disputing that. What i am rather miffed about is the fact that they just turned around on the phone with a rarther arrogant attitude and said

"because you bought the item used, it's not covered by the logitech warranty"

No amount of "It still has an invoice receipt, it's still covered by a warranty, It's 7 months old" would make him think any different.

He just said "take it back to the point of purchase" even though i told him the small shop had closed down and gone out of business.

Tough thats the rules with most goods...

i haven't read all the post so you may have to forgive me if i'm repeating whats already said, for gaming never go for wireless as the recievers are never bluetooth and need to be in view of the product at all times, also batteries can fail at the wrong times, go wired for stability aand there's some mighty fine mice out there now, the G500 is now a very cheap high end gaming mouse with a lot of functionality, once configured to the controls you want then i can gaurentee you'll have no more quarels with logitech, infact you'll love the G500 just as i have.... tho you can't go dropping them cos the mouse wheel axis can tend to bend making the middle wheel controls go faulty (tried tested lol)
you can get the G500 for as low as £30 now

You always hear good things about logitech customers service, very highly thought of. On the other hand though it seems their products don't last :p

Indeed, I've only had my Z5500 for 6 years and the control pod screen is slightly too dim now  I want a full replacements

??? Both my Logitech mice at work and home are bluetooth? They must be cause my dongles are plugged into the back the computers under my desks

Plus my battery will last a week without putting it on its charger cradle which I do every day anyway so unless you are a gamer who does 36 hour non stop sessions then I fail to see how battery life is an issue?

i did state if you're a gamer as i started my post and when it comes to gaming you pretty much need constant connectivity, browsing can work fine with intemitent signals, and browsing can last even on low battery life, gaming is a different kettle of fish all together, you need constant power and constant signal...

Logitech have done it for me with replacments / Faluty products.

4 Years ago i bought the MX revolution off Dell for £45 or so.
The mouse has now got problems that it will studder or freeze ( less than a second) across the screen on both computers, the receiver is less than 3ft away aswell. This has been going on for a month now, but have stuck it some how.

Mouse is also worse for wear as the plastic coating has came off on the right hand side grip.

So when this happened, i contacted them either Monday or Tuesday, today i receive an email for me to confirm my home address, contact number etc.
They are sending me out a replacement, but as the mx revolution has been discontinued, they are sending me out a brand spanking new, Performance Mouse MX.

They have top quality mice, keyboards and speakers, But most of all for me top quality customers service and guarantee. :D

Their legendary service is definitely good in such that I've heard a few people have had their goods fail and logitech replace with minimal fuss.

Can't fault them eaither. About a month ago had my mouse replaced, brand new too.

I just sent an email and said what the problem was, another email or two back and the mouse was sent.
