Is something that has happened today or am i slow on the uptake?

I haven't been keeping an eye on the $ till recently and i've just noticed this morning that its £1 = $2.00111 which is increidble?!!?

I'm trying to find a chart of the dollar but i can't seem to find the right expression to google for!

Bloody hell, that's got to be good news for buying stuff from the US. Last time I checked it was at about $1.98 or something.

Falling economy in the US. Housing market and employment market are in a slump over there, leading to a weaker dollar against the strong pound.

If only I could find somewhere there that ships to the UK, there's only two companies I can think of which sell stuff I'm interested in. I am pretty sure I can post them, one sells gadgets though so could be a competitor.
