Yeah I was alarmed by my readings too. I don't treat my battery badly or anything. Hopefully it's a faulty reading, Matt's is over 100%.

Yeah, but i have a super special battery.

I have the oldest MacBook Pro in the known universe :D

Only owned the macBook since last Wednesday but look at the battery :(

dit: think i better give more details:

I keep my MacBook charged and since I've got it, I've done the calibration once and after which, I've been keeping the MacBook running under mains and now, I'm attempting to calibrate again tonight.

Basically..

I bet if you check the reading again tomorrow, it will have gone up...

The capacity goes up and down, but to be honest, a drop of 200milliamphours is hardly anything to worry about.

You will NEVER find a battery that is exactly to it's "true" capacity.

I don't like your incinuation either dark shadow, you know know about my level of knowledge, so don't comment ;)

i have 90% capacity after 3 months :s

though i have to admit im not charging it properly, sometime i charge it only for a little while then just take the charger out, sometimes i leave the charger in for too long. I really cant be asked to sit there and wait for the exact time when the orange light turns into green.

I've just checked with coconut and it's still the same.

I'm getting too worked up by my macbook now - having an OCD for cleaning it with a dust-magnet towel and checking if the battery is at 100% as it was when first booted up. Bah!
