Over Crowded AV stand

Hi All

Can someone please help me out.

I have a Alphason AD3/105 av stand and it's getting a bit over crowded.

At the moment I have my Sky HD box sitting directly on top my Denon DVD player because of lack of self space.

What I would like is something that I could sit the Sky box on and keep the two apart by a few inches so it no longer sat on top of the DVD player ( like a small self that would fit in the unit ) this would allow air to get between two and stop the over heating

Does anyone know of something that would help me out

Go to a DIY place and get a small length of plastic pipe.

Cut 4 equal length tubes say 1-2cm in length.

Use this to stand the Sky box on.

OR

By 2 squash balls. Cut them in half. Put one in each corner of the Sky box.

I would probably go with the squash ball approach.
