So i'm thinking i've been wearing down the red snare pad all this time when playing on the 360 and it has a rather large dip in the pad. The problem is that it is now TOO sensitive and hitting it hard results in a double hit being registered. I know you could say "just don't hit it too hard" but i physically cannot do this, as it will dent my enjoyment of the game :P so i'm basically looking for a quick fix people, open to any suggestions or proven solutions.

Also, if i put a drum stick on the pad itself and then lift it off quickly, it picks that up as a hit.

Thanks to anyone who replies :D

go on the activision site, ghwt help section, say there not sensitive enough and they will send you out a cable that you connect to your pc and use a program to turn down the sensitivity.

mine took about 6 days to arrive.

i'll take a look at that site now, not been checking OcUK regularly enough! i'll let you know how it goes

It's a good piece of kit, I had to tune my yellow cymbal to 20 before it'd register any hit's properly and managed to tune the drum so everything wasn't over/under sensitive.

I replaced the yellow cymbal in the end, I've still got the old one even thought it's pretty much broken.

^ i had that issue on my first kit, the yellow cymbal did not work at all and this software would'nt have changed a thing. Im managed to get a replacement however, but now have this problem :p

My cable is on its way apparently, i just hope they don't find out that i bought the game well before i stated thus meaning that the 90 day warranty has expired :p

^ does that help though?

Greatly, putting it on 0 doesn't cancel any action when playing the red drum it just makes it insensitive up to the point playing other parts doesn't activate it and plays decently when hit (even quite lightly).
