Overclock not working

At this stage, it's looking like your board just isn't up to the challenge. If I was gonna change anything I'd look for a cheap 2nd hand Asus P5Q, which are the dog's for overclocking. Or just enjoy your PC for a while and when you need to get more juice jump to a newer socket.

Ok well thanks for trying to help me anyway mate, il bump up this thread when ive installed my new PSU and tried overclocking with that

edit just did a quick google search and came accross this what someone posted

"Keep in mind that the GA-G41 mobo generally has a FSB limitation of around 345+/-. That severely limits the upside potential when using a low multi cpu like the Q8300. 2.6ghz is about all you can expect."

had a look and there was mention that if you raise PCI-E to 104 it might give you a bit of an fsb increase over the 345.

Is it safe to raise that though? In my BIOS it says not to go over 100

Yeah its definitley my Motherboard, just fitted my new PSU & Graphics card and tried pushing it further but didnt work.
