Just played through Far cry 3 (eventually) and then dashed through Tombraider, both with my 7850 overlocked to 1100mhz,(both games no problems at all)
Just started Dead space 3,same settings ,BSOD several times after about 30mins into the game.
swept all AMD drivers and reinstalled latest drivers, still the same
Reset o/clock to stock settings,no further problems, played for 3 hours today
Anyone else had problems withis crappy consul port?

I don't know but i just bought this so will get round to giving it a try at some point.

What driver version are you using?

Latest,13.4, I think,as I said,if you get problems,just run at stock,all settings set too pretty much maxed out,with v sync set to off,otherwise you only get 30fps.

Uninstall the old drivers and any cap files, restart then download and install the new 13.8 beta 2 drivers and see if that fixes the problem.

Might also be worth verifying the game files in origin as well to ensure you have no corrupt or missing game files.

will give that a go when I get chance, but as I said as its ok running at stock,i might just blast through as it is,sometimes you can end up faffing around for hours and get no where!

Sorry my mistake i didn't realise you were overclocking. Try bumping the core voltage of your cards a bit. Maybe then it will be stable in this game.

Check it's not just a game issue, I haven't checked for my self yet but I'm told dead space 3 is quite a rough port (console frame limits still in place etc...)

Maybe, but I played Farcry 3 with no problems and that was a far more hardware demanding game,my fps were up and down in that game

I've had things like this though - like Fallout 3 crashing on an OC but being fine lower, while Crysis would work ok. I think a lot of the time it's just down to different games using the hardware in different ways, and sometimes that will push what seems a stable OC over the edge.

Fallout 3 is quite a mess too tbh, it absolutely hates anything with more then two cores, the last time I tried it I managed around 15 mins before it started hanging.

ive never come across this before,i know all games run differently, and crisis was tough on my hardware(gtx 470 and an amd 720), but ive never experienced bsod due to graphics card settings

It is a bit of a mess, yeah - but it was the same kind of issue, no crashes with a lower OC. I'd applied a few mods and stuff that helped with most of the crashes otherwise.
