I recieved my overclockers bundle today its the....Krypton Z77 660i" Intel Core i5 3570K 3.40GHz @ 4.40GHz DDR3 Ivybridge Overclocked Bundle.

Connected everything up heatsink, fans, connectors. Turned on the pc and it turns on for 2 seconds then turns off. turns on again for 2 seconds then turns off and just repeats... The fans are spinning and i can hear things starting but it just keeps doing this over and over. Any help? could it be the internal connector cables..the ones that are tiny that all connect next to each other i think there for the front panel module. power led, power switch, reset switch, hd, activity, speak ect or are those just for the leds? There the small ones where you get orange/white blue/white connecters ect.
and wouldnt actually cause this issue im having?

rest it on the motherboard box outside the system and try it again (testing for shorts)

if that doesn't work, reset the cmos (should be a jumper switch or button).

You'll have to contact ocuk via webnote for your o/c settings.

How can i rest it outside the system since it will need all the connectors attatched and the wires arnt that long for some of them. i tryed resetting the cmos that didnt make any difference. Im worried that maybe the MB or cpu has gone?

To test it outside the case you don't need much beyond the two power connections and the CPU fan. If the PSU wires are too short then remove the PSU from the case as well.

You can boot it by shorting the power switch header with a screwdriver so you don't need any of the front panel connectors.

Is it this http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BU-001-GI&groupid=43&catid=2384&subcat=2288 ?

It sounds like the ram is in the wrong slots, the instructions with that board give incorrect ram fitting instructions as I found out on a build yesterday.

Move the ram to the other two slots.

Ive just checked the instructions and it says with 2 memory modules use sockets 1 and 2 which are the white ones ....works perfectly for me like that.

Sockets 3 and 4, the blue ones are for channel B.
